Guest posting is widely recognized as a highly effective and popular strategy for building backlinks to websites. However, executing it successfully can be challenging and time-consuming, requiring a diverse set of skills.
Given the complexities involved, many website owners find it more convenient to outsource guest posting to a guest post service provider.
However, with numerous vendors in the market, finding the right one that meets all your needs and delivers quality guest post services can be a daunting task. To simplify the process, we have undertaken the challenge of reviewing the top 15 vendors in the market.
In this review, I am not going to promote our own services, but instead, I have done the betting for you.
How did we select the best guest posting vendors?
To find the top guest posting vendors, first, we established some quality metrics. Then, we contacted them through email addresses given on their websites and support channels and asked them questions that we crafted based on our metrics.
We looked into the following criteria to assess them:
Word Count and Pricing: We examined the number of words included in the price of the guest post. Additionally, we inquired about the cost for an additional 500 words, ensuring transparency in pricing and determining the value proposition of each service.
Sponsored Tags and Link Attributes: We looked into the presence of sponsored tags in guest posts, ensuring transparency and adherence to advertising guidelines.
Additionally, we sought information on whether the included links were dofollow or nofollow, which can impact the SEO value of the guest posts.
Turnaround Time (TAT): The expected TAT for delivering the guest posts was a crucial factor in assessing the efficiency and reliability of each vendor.
Minimum Traffic and Website Quality: We investigated the minimum traffic requirements for the sites where the guest posts would be published.
In addition, we verified if the guest posts were published on genuine sites and not private blog networks (PBNs).
DR and DA 40+ Links: We specifically looked for vendors capable of providing guest posts with backlinks from domains having a Domain Rating (DR) and Domain Authority (DA) of 40 or higher.
Assessing Vendor Quality Through Sample Domain Evaluation
Though their response to our queries was an influential factor in shaping our assessment, our primary focus was on obtaining sample domains where the guest post would be published. So, we requested 3 to 4 website samples from each vendor to understand the quality of the link.
Out of the 15 vendors contacted, some of the services responded with sample domains. This allowed us to review the websites and evaluate their credibility, relevance, and overall placement quality. A few vendors chose to not send us any samples.
How to Determine Whether a Website is Really a PBN?
1. Diverse Topics with Exact Match Anchor Links: When you notice multiple topics on a website, each blog post consistently providing outbound links with exact match anchor text to a “client website,” it’s a strong indicator of a potential PBN.
2. Outdated Website Design: The presence of outdated website design resembling a blog from the early 2000s is another clear sign of a PBN. This often results in a poor user experience (UX).
3. Links to Inappropriate Niches: If you find links on the site leading to casino, cannabis, adult, or pharmaceutical websites, it raises a red flag.
4. If the website touch upon a wide spectrum of topics (Topics they are paid to write about or link out to), it may be an indicator of PBNs and link farms.
